Imagine Me without You

as long as stars shine down from heaven
and the rivers run into the sea
till the end of time forever
You're the only love i'll need
in my life You're all that matters
in my eyes the only truth i see
when my hopes and dreams have shattered
You're the one who's there for me

when i found You i was blessed
i will never leave You, i need You

imagine me without You
i'd be lost and so confused
i wouldn't last a day, i'd be afraid
without You there to see me through

imagine me without You
Lord you know it's just impossible
because of You it's all brand new
my life is now worthwhile

i can't imagine me without You

when You caught me I was falling
Your love lifted me back on my feet
it was like You here my calling
and You rush to set me free

A Bruised Reed

All of the sudden i was reminded by this statement:

"A bruised reed He will not break,
and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out,
till He leads justice to victory"

What a boost!! Amidst storms of life, when hopes seem to fade away... when the world turns its back against me... There's still Someone who'll keep my hope from dying. He will keep it burning, and he'll restore it... untill His justice leads to victory.

I will keep holding on the Giver of hope, so that hope will not be swept away by raging storms of life...

Dogfight

Well, this is the first blog in my entire life... and this one is not about F-14 vs MIG... it's about real dogs fighting with each other. Real dogs living in my being.

Have you heard of parable of 2 dogs? There's two dogs resembling our being, one is white and the other is black. The white one resembles the good part of us, the love, the faith, the hope, the joy, the optimism, and every good things you can ever think of. And the other dog, the black one, resembles the evil part of us, the hatred, the incredulity, the envy, and the downheartedness. These two dogs fight each other everytime... and at the end of the day, one thing that determines our happiness and the fullness of our existence is the answer to the question: "which dog wins?" and sure enough the one we feed most win...

"So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God-through Jesus Christ our Lord!" Romans 7: 21-25

Join me in learning to keep feeding the white dog more... in starving the black dog, 'till one day the black dog will go away and die...
